From a wild idea to a supported energetic landscape in 8 steps.
Theme energetic landscape
Within DIPLA, the theme energetic landscape has been developed together with the Regional Landscape Lage Kempen (RLLK).
Profisi has digitized the Protocols and workflows developed by the RLLK in DIPLA. Every actor has access to the system and in this way has a constant view of the current state of affairs and can, depending on his function, make changes.
With DIPLA, Profisi creates the ideal environment for a digital partnership.

Background
Creating an energetic landscape is a process of 15 to 30 years.
This means that a structural local operation must be set up. You set up a harvesting process, which is then continuously adjusted. Important is that
The start-up phase serves to get local actors to get to know each other, to trust each other. In addition, it must be clear to the local actors what is expected of them and how much effort it will cost. They have to eventually carry out the project. The findings within the European Twecom project have resulted in an approach for stakeholder consultations and protocols. With current knowledge it provides the best guarantee for achieving a smooth harvest and supported landscape. Ultimately, the RLLK has come up with 8 steps that each hedge must take to get from a wild idea to implementation. |
Maps as a communication channel
is The card module makes it possible for local actors to view all possible aspects of the energetic landscape.
You can allow the visitor to see the information. The latest state of affairs always available in one place and everywhere digitally avalable.

Digitizing protocols
For each step, RLLK has developed a protocol with a clear link to how to use the protocol within DIPLA.
Smart inventory with field apps
Inventory is an important step to gain insight into your potential biomass and forms the basis for an implementation plan.
TWECOM has experimented with various inventory methods. This ultimately resulted in a first Quickscan app for wood edges. This app has been developed by Profisi. The RLLK has developed a method to calculate potential biomass from these data. Profisi has integrated this into DIPLA. The inventory data is translated live into usable data; present kg / lm, proposal of management, Ton of biomass in landscape. This data is available for all partners. In addition, the data is available via wfs for use in their own gypsum package (see below).

Give and receive assignments, fully digital
Dipla not only helps to realize the communication, information exchange and inventory between the various actors, but also allows you to create assignments from the plan and forward them to the workmen on the field. These can then send data via the MyDIPLA-app directly from the field such. Dat like work carried out, time spent, amount of biomass harvested, problems, photos, ...
Learn from your management
Based on this data, calculations can be made, reports drawn and harvest visualized.
Based on the harvest data from the last few years, an estimate of the amount of biomass can now be made for every step and year in the municipality.
DIPLA keeps track of all data and also acts as an archive on the management of our landscape. This gives us the opportunity to use this data to solve issues and to learn from our management.

Use live DIPLA in a gis package
DIPLA hase the possibility to export your data with a secure wfs connection.
This allows live access on your data.
The WFS format can also be used in Qgis, Mapinfo, Arcview, ....
This not only allows you to create specific maps with your own colors, but also to perform specialized calculations.
